Overview

This section describes the base URLs for accessing the Carusell Client Portal and API environments. Carusell provides two environments:

Sandbox – for integration, development, and testing.
Production – for live transaction processing.

Sandbox and Production credentials are completely separate.

Tokens generated in one environment cannot be used in the other.

Always verify the base URL before switching to live traffic.

Client Portal
The Client Portal is the web interface for managing your Carusell account and operational settings.
It allows you to:

Monitor transactions

View and configure reports

Manage balances and account settings

The API Base URL is the root domain used for all REST API requests, including:

Authentication (access and refresh tokens)

Intent creation and processing (with payments and disbursements)

Refunds and captures

Transaction status retrieval
